We’ve been working with Supreme Plumbing, Heating & Cooling for just over a year, as of February 2021. Like many clients, we’re grateful they came to us as a referral from other organizations and businesses we have worked with in the Terre Haute community.

Vice President, Wes Isbell, was tired of not seeing the results they wanted from their marketing efforts and previous digital marketing agency. They were ready to dive headfirst into a comprehensive marketing plan that focused on local search and would give them an edge over their competitors.

The Problem

Supreme had been working with a marketing firm out of state that specialized in HVAC marketing. However, they weren’t seeing the results they had expected, with a lack of expertise for local marketing and SEO. Supreme was looking for a better, more personalized relationship with an agency who would help them grow their plumbing, heating, and cooling business while also helping develop their Fireplace & Hearth brand.

As a local, family-owned business that has been in Terre Haute for over 60 years, Supreme has continued to grow and adapt to provide new services to their community, from HVAC and plumbing to fireplace installation and repair.

Our approach was to develop creative and seasonal campaigns, utilizing web design, social media, blogs, radio spots, newspaper and digital ads, and direct mailers to help build more brand recognition while increasing their findability online through local SEO.

The Solution

We focused a lot of our efforts into building out Supreme’s Website SEO and Local SEO strategies. After restructuring and redesigning the Supreme website, we added valuable information to web pages, new blogs to educate visitors on the services Supreme provides, and regularly updated their Google My Business Page to help them show up consistently in related searches in the Terre Haute area.

From fireplaces in the winter to air conditioning in the summer, as seasons changed we sent out timely direct mail offers, that included die-cut “gift cards” that customers could use on their service with Supreme. To reinforce our campaign message at all touchpoints, we also used seasonal radio, newspaper, and digital ads while shifting our content marketing to match.

In addition, we added online payments to make it easier for customers to pay invoices online. This tactic helps Supreme get paid faster too, since it is connected to their Square account.

RED66 also developed a customer review campaign which included cards handed out at time of service, and emails to customers requesting reviews after service. This helped increase visibility of the local pack on google maps and SERPs.

The Results

In just one year, we saw website traffic increase more than 254% from a couple of hundred visitors to about 1000. The business has significantly grown, resulting in hiring 3 staff members.

There has been a 479% increase in Google My Business Listing Views, which is most important for local service providers like HVAC and Plumbing companies, who benefit from quick search engine results.

Conclusion and Moving Forward

We continue to create regular content for Supreme while adding in new services to our marketing and search efforts including fireplace installation and bathroom/plumbing remodels.

Looking for better ways to reach their customers, Supreme is now applying a mailing list analysis to identify best customer types to increase prospects to their quarterly marketing efforts.
