As a part of a smaller team, our employees wear a lot of hats, are asked to jump in to learn something new to help someone out. Work hours aren’t always 8-5, and sometimes we may work later on a project, but we also have the flexibility to schedule appointments and things we need throughout our days as well. Social Media Marketing Internship

Due to continued agency growth, we’re looking for a social media marketing intern to join our team. As a social media marketing intern, you will be responsible for the planning, creation and curation of social media content for multiple clients, across several channels. If you are passionate about social media marketing, PR and helping clients demonstrate their knowledge, culture and capabilities via social media, this role is for you!

In this position, you will manage most social media marketing deliverables for our clients. The focus of this work includes writing posts, curating informational and industry related information by client, and developing graphics with client branding, (including images, gifs, small videos, and more) all based on client content strategies.

Experience in social media platforms a plus, but not required. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the implementation and execution of social media marketing plans/tactics for both new and existing clients
  • Conduct online outreach and promotion using Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and more
  • Creation of monthly social media reports using our social media platform (Sendible)
  • Ideation and creation of social media content calendars and outlines
  • Identify potential opportunities in social media channels by client
  • Manage social media channels for specific clients including regular monitoring, responding and engagement
  • Create, curate, and schedule social media content using our social media platform Sendible
  • Create & enhance social media strategies for clients
  • Assist team with project management tasks and assigning as needed
  • Tracking time by client
  • Ensure client approval before scheduling

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Interest and some experience in marketing communications and social media marketing
  • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative to figure things out
  • Utilize Asana Project management tool to keep projects on track

Internship Compensation

  • $15 per hour
  • Commission structure for new business development
  • Cell phone or Wi-Fi stipend provided of $25/mo.
  • Remote work is available and acceptable
  • Office space is available in Grand Rapids, Michigan with free parking. We also have Shared office space in Speedway, (Indianapolis), Indiana

Marketing Specialist

Due to continued agency growth, we’re looking for a marketing specialist to join our team.  As a Marketing Specialist, you will work closely with our Account Managers to create and manage several items for our clients. The focus of this work includes writing blog articles, social media posts, curating informational and industry-related information by client, developing graphics with client images, (images, gifs, small videos, and more) all based on client content strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and write content for client blogs, website content, and marketing collateral,
  • Ideation and creation of content calendars
  • Assist with the creation and execution of social media marketing plans/tactics for both new and existing clients
  • Creation of monthly client project reports
  • Create, curate and manage social media channels for specific clients
  • Assist team with project management tasks and assign as needed
  • Ability to “Think Like a Customer” and write for target audiences
  • Draft, schedule, and post content in Sendible platform
    • Ensure client approval before scheduling
    • Regular monitoring, responding, and engagement on behalf of clients
  • Create and present new ideas, develop strategies, and demonstrate problem-solving abilities to address client issues

Requirements:

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting salary $30,000/year (negotiable based on experience) paid every 2 weeks

Account Manager

Due to continued agency growth, we’re looking for an Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of client relationships and managing all work done on their behalf. If you are passionate about marketing and nurturing client relationships, helping them win through a mix of marketing tactics, this is a job for you.

You will manage all client marketing deliverables. The focus of this work includes content writing, SEO/SEM, website maintenance, and creating emails, design of marketing collateral, social media and more, all based on client deadlines. You’ll also manage specially design projects with other team members and subcontractors for items like campaign creation, graphic design and collateral development.

To be successful as our Account Manager, you will need to:

  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication,
  • Have a proven track record of the development and implementation of client marketing plans
  • Plan and direct client meetings, including taking notes and assign action items
  • Understand and support search engine optimization strategies
  • Create & enhance content marketing, SEO/SEM and social media strategies for clients
  • Create content calendars for client blogs, website content, and marketing collateral
  • Create, curate, and plan client content for client social media channels
  • Create and send monthly reports for client deliverables, status updates and social media metrics
  • Assist team with project management tasks and assign as needed
  • Possess enthusiasm about marketing and supporting clients to be successful.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in account management or content marketing/SEO preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to research, compare, and write informational and engaging content for clients,
  • Ability to “Think Like a Customer” and develop marketing plans to attract new business for clients
  • Work independently and take initiative to solve problems as they arise
  • Utilize Asana project management tool to keep projects on track
  • Lead, manage and hold other team members and subcontractors accountable for client deliverables including graphic design, website development, writers and more

Accountabilities

  • Conduct all client/vendor contact in a professional, highly ethical manner
  • Be proactive in continuous learning of marketing, web marketing, and digital work
  • Communicate directly and consistently with the team, including vendors and contractors, and
  • Utilize the project management system to create and assign tasks to yourself and other team members
